Our brother/brother-in-law, Harold passed away peacefully on Easter Sunday, April 17, 2022.
Harold was born and raised in Rocky Mountain House and worked as a heavy equipment operator after graduating from Rocky High School. Harold was involved in a tragic car accident in 1966 (caused by a drunk driver). He was left totally blind from age 26 until his passing.
He lived many years in Edmonton near the CNIB and worked at the Royal Alexandra Hospital in the canteen. He moved to Fort Saskatchewan in 2000 to be closer to his mother and brother Howard.
Harold is survived by his sister Cathy and her family, niece Deanna (Rob), niece Christa (Alex and Nathaniel), nephew Trevor, and his sister-in-law/caregiver and friend, Penny (widow of Howard Bjelke).
He has been welcomed in heaven by his loving parents Gunnar (1991) and Irene (2010) and his wonderful brother Howard (2018).
