Angela (Angie) Dawn Hitchcock
In 2006, Angie then got remarried to the love of her life. In 2018, they moved to Kensington, PEI, and began their dream of running a bed and breakfast, the Home Place Inn. She passed away after a short battle with health complications on June 12, 2024. Angie was a passionate woman who lived fiercely. She felt deep love, hurt, joy, and sorrow. You could see this in every part of her life, from her relationships to her joy in arts and crafts. Family meant the world to Angie. She held close relationships with her mom and siblings and had a profound love for the children in her life. Her laugh was contagious as she would get others going with her giggle and snort. No matter where she lived, she developed close bonds with those around her. Her love and dedication will never be forgotten. She is predeceased by her father Alvin Parenteau, brother Dale Parenteau, daughter Amanda (Mandy) Emmons, grandparents Ben and Margaret Parenteau, grandparents Harvey and Irene Hanson, and Uncle Jerry Parenteau. She is survived by her mother Carol Parenteau, sister Wendy Parenteau, brother Steve Parenteau, husband Greg Hitchcock, daughter Sarah Emmons, son Jason Emmons, her grandchildren, and other extended family members. She loved life and to respect her wishes, no funeral will be held. However, a celebration will be held in both PEI and Alberta for family and friends. She will be laid to rest alongside her daughter Mandy in Rocky Mountain House. |
