Jeannette Elizabeth Law
Jan spent her childhood working on the family farm, starting at the young age of four years old. There wasn’t a day that went by that Jan didn’t love her life on the farm. She always worked hard at it with the utmost care. Her life wasn’t all about work, though. She spent most of her spare time with her beloved family and friends as the life of the party. She had a fantastic sense of humour and the biggest heart of gold — always giving her all to her loved ones. Jan found the most joy in spending time with her grandchildren and great-granddaughter. There was nothing more she loved in the world than her family. She will be missed dearly by all who knew her. Jan was predeceased by her parents, Alice and Malcolm MacDonald, her husband Wayne Law, and her brother, Lachlan MacDonald. She is survived by her son Brent McMeekin (Lesley); her grandchildren: Logan McMeekin and Caitlan McMeekin; her great-granddaughter Paisley McMeekin; her beloved friend Ina Herman; and numerous family and friends. Condolences may be forwarded to www.rockyfuneralhome.ca. Rocky and Sylvan Lake Funeral Homes and Crematorium, your Golden Rule Funeral Homes, entrusted with the arrangements. |
