Barbara “Barb” Jean Cowan McLaughlin
Nov. 27, 1948 – June 13, 2025

Barbara will be remembered as a beautiful kind soul. Her smile lit up a room, while her sassiness filled it with laughter.

Born in High River, Alta., Barbara was one of the five children born to Charles and Edith Cowan.

Her strength, compassion and appreciation for every day will carry on through her loved ones.

Barb has now gained her angel wings and had begun her last adventure home to be with her parents, sister and brother.

Barb is survived by her daughter Kerryann (Robbie) Praud, her grandchildren Chalena (Adam) and Brandon (Savannah), her great-grandchildren Lawson and Mylah, two best friends (sisters) Louise and Bill Nicol (Dallas, Texas), Pat and Wayne Gibbs (Spruce Grove, Alta.), as well as her niece and nephews.

There will be a celebration of life on Aug. 23, 2025, at 12 p.m. at her daughter’s home.
