Margaret Marlen Olmstead
March 3, 1946 – June 23, 2025

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Margaret Marlen Olmstead on June 23, 2025.

Margaret was born on March 3, 1946, to Joyce and Ted Lelond.

Margaret married the love of her life, Ken, on Dec. 14, 1963. In 1973, Ken and Margaret moved the family to the farm in Rocky Mountain House, where they raised their family.

Margaret is survived by their children: Ken (Danette), Kathy (Cam), Lorrie and Kevin (Dianne); grandchildren: Greg, Tyler, Justin, Jennifer (Kyle), Ryan (Taylor), Paige (Justin), Cody (Savannah) and Kurtis; great-grandchildren: Ali, Lane, Bria, Hazel, Troy, Donovan, Thomas and Londyn; siblings: Bev (Doug), Clarence (Yvonne), Audrey (Don), Val (Dougall), Arlane (Ken) and Raymond (Heather); brother-in-law Stan (Sandra), sisters-in-law: Camie, Sylvia (Berry), Sherri (Rob); as well as numerous relatives and friends who were like family.

Margaret was predeceased by her husband Ken of 58 years, granddaughter Jessica, son-in-law Kevin and brother-in-law Dick.

A celebration of Margaret’s life will be held at a later date.
