Ralph Edward Parker
April 23, 1943 – March 11, 2025

Ralph E. Parker was the third of five sons born to Alvin and Ellen Parker. The family moved about 1946 from Red Deer to a farm southwest of Condor. Ralph attended school at New Knowledge, Horseguard, Alhambra, Condor and David Thompson. After leaving school he was employed by farmers, in construction, the oilfield, a machine shop and roofing company. He worked for 23 years at Flint.

Ralph enjoyed fishing, camping and big game hunting. From an early age he learned wilderness survival and made due with his surroundings. He purchased a motor bike and spent many hours riding. He passed away doing what he loved most, fishing.

On March 17, 1976, Ralph’s daughter was born. On an acreage in Drayton Valley, Ralph built a home with a matching playhouse for his daughter, Virginia.

After retiring, Ralph lived in Penticton a few years.

He is survived by his daughter, two brothers Edwin and Gordon, two nieces, three nephews, an aunt and many cousins. He is predeceased by his father in 1984, his mother in 1994, his brothers Milton in 1996 and Lorne in 2003, and a nephew in 2023.

No funeral will be held at Ralph’s request.
