Our family is sad to announce the passing of Robert “Bob” Scott, after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 78 years on Oct. 20, 2024, at Rocky Mountain House Hospital with his loving wife by his side.

Bob was born in Rocky Mountain House on Nov. 6, 1945, the youngest son of Bessie and Maurice Scott. Bob took his schooling in Arbutus, Ferrier, Hinton and finished back in Rocky.

Bob will be sadly missed and forever loved by his best friend and wife of 54 years Flora; daughters Laurie (Dave) Kovacs of St. Albert and Myrna (Aaron) McCaw of Rocky Mountain House; his grandchildren: Tanner (Vanessa) Kovacs, Nicole Kovacs of Edmonton, Cody McCaw of Rocky Mountain House, and Justine (Charles) Caven of Chetwynd, B.C.; and his biggest treasures in life — his great-grandkids Jaxxon and Aubrey Caven of Chetwynd, B.C.; brothers Ron Scott and Bud (Kay) Scott; sister-in-law Elsie Scott, all of Rocky Mountain House; Mike (Megan) Stewart and the entire Stewart family, his extended family Gert Croy and family of Fairview; and his much-loved little buddy, his puppy Jimmy.
