Karen Rose (Nen-tun) (Rollinmud) Abraham
Aug. 31, 1955 – May 12, 2020

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, sister, daughter, cousin, niece, aunt, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Karen was a calm and loving person. She was born and raised in Morley where she received her education. Nen-tun had talents which were many. She enjoyed and self-taught herself with traditional beadwork. Nen-tun lived her life with joy and to the fullest.
She was a homemaker until she became employed at the Ta Otha School in Bighorn from 1999 to 2002. She loved spending time teaching the young and her grandchildren the importance of the Sioux Stoney culture and language.
Karen (Nen-tun) is survived by her loving husband Charlie Abraham of 47 years; her daughters Seona (Rick); Samantha (Philip); Cyndi, Bryanna; Avery (April); and siblings Roxanne, Amelia and Xavier Rollinmud; 24 grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren—one of whom is on the way and will never know how amazing his great-grandmother was; as well as numerous other family members.
She was predeceased by her daughters Felica (1997) and Stanleen (1999); parents Stanley and Clara Rollinmud; sisters Elizabeth, Cleone Bearspaw, Geraldine, Ralphalia, Georga-Vee and Renee; and her parents-in-law Bella and Norman Abraham.
We express our sincere thanks to Dr. Aasman and his team of medical staff at the Rocky Mountain House Health Care Centre and all her relations that were supporting her.
Until we meet again, Ena Nen-tun. We will forever have you in our memories.
