Gordon Alfred Adrian
May 14, 1938 – May 5, 2018

Gordon Alfred Adrian was born May 14, 1938. He peacefully passed away on May 5, 2018, at the Red Deer Regional Hospital after a short but courageous battle with cancer.
He leaves to mourn his partner of 24 years Nora Lawson, three children; John (Lori-Ann) Adrian, Jean Merklin, George (Karla) Adrian, seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Gordon was predeceased by his parents, sisters and great-grandson.
Born and raised in the Rocky Mountain House area, Gordon settled in the Condor area where he raised his family and operated a dairy farm until his retirement.
After retirement he continued to be active with community events, carpentry on the side, maintenance work and helping out where he could. Gordon was a devoted family man and friend and always looked forward to family and community events. He was always the first to lend a helping hand. He was also noted for his sense of humour and practical jokes.
The family appreciates all the prayers and concerns extended during this time.
Funeral services for the late Gordon Adrian was held at the Bethel Union Church in Leslieville, on Monday, May 14, 2018, at 1 p.m. A viewing prior to the service was at 11:30 a.m., a luncheon followed at the Leslieville Hall.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Gordon’s name to either the Cancer Society or the Canadian Diabetic Association.
