Kenneth George Knight

Ken was born to Jim and Louise Knight and grew up in Caroline, Alta., with his seven siblings, Marie, Leonard, Diane, Donna, Jeannette, Joan and Peter.
In 1964, Ken and Marina were married and shared 55 years together. They have one son, Brent, three daughters, Pam, Wanda and Debra; as well as 11 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and another great-grandchild to arrive in the spring.
Ken had a passion for supporting his family and friends. He obtained his pilot’s licence and enjoyed flying to Air Shows and flying with the Air Search and Rescue. He kept busy fixing, building and inventing that used his creative mind.
The oil and gas industry was where Ken worked for more than 50 years. He was a welder, business owner and project manager and worked across Alberta meeting many folks in the industry and helping others as they began their careers.
Ken passed away on Jan. 10, with his family by his side. A celebration of life was held on Jan. 18, in Rocky Mountain House, Alta. Cremation was entrusted to the Rocky Mountain Crematorium, Rocky Mountain House, Alta.
